Victor Tedondo, has been coaching within the Orleans community since the young age of 18. He started as an Assistant under Mike Johnson and Randy Bellini of the Orleans Bengals. Prior to coaching, Coach Tedondo played for St-Peter Catholic High School, the Cumberland Panthers, the Myers Riders Football Club, Gloucester Dukes Midget Club, as well as the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees. Coach Tedondo is passionate about the game of football, and is always trying to enhance the skills of young athletes everywhere. He views football as a metaphor for life “The same attributes that propel one to succeed on the gridiron (drive, preparation, goal-setting and teamwork) will propel one to succeed in any endeavor”
TOMASZ DEREN

Strength And Conditioning Coach
Coach Deren is a certified exercise physiologist (CSEP-CEP) and has worked as a strength coach for elite athletes over the past four years. He currently holds positions as a strength coach for the uOttawa Varsity Women’s Volleyball Program and at the Ottawa 67’s Sports Performance Center, catering to elite level hockey players. He received a B.Sc. in human kinetics from the University of Ottawa in the summer of 2009. Having completed his undergraduate degree, he continued his studies by taking on a master’s in the field of exercise and environmental physiology. His thesis work has been funded by the NFL and focuses on minimizing heat stroke risk during NFL and NCAA summer training camps. Tomasz is always looking for cutting edge research that can be transferred to his athletes to give them the extra edge needed to out perform the competition. He believes that hard work trumps talent and is always on the hunt for hard-nosed athletes ready to step up their game. Are you in?


JEAN-MICHEL MERCIER

Jean-Michel Mercier is a third year student at the University of Ottawa studying Human Kinetics. He recently transferred from Concordia University where he had been studying Athletic Therapy for the past 2 years. He has worked as the athletic therapist for soccer teams in Montreal and was also one of the assistant therapists at the end of season training camp for the Ottawa Gee Gees in May. Jean-Michel has been involved with sports his whole life and his athletic therapy and human kinetics background brings additional knowledge to our team.
CYRIL ADJEITEY
Receiver Coach
Coach Adjeity is a recent graduate of the University of Ottawa Gee Gees football program and University of Ottawa’s Biochemistry program. He competed for five years at the CIS level, and before that he played with the Ottawa Cumberland Panthers (OVFL) as well as the North Gloucester Giants (NCAFA) football clubs. Over his career he has participated in several All-Star games including being named the OUA-1st Team All-Star twice and once to the 2nd Team All-Canadian team. He was also invited to both the CIS EAST-WEST bowl challenge as well as the CFL evaluation camp. His goal is to joining the Gridiron Academy coaching staff to help develop high calibre football players, as well as build well rounded young men.


FRANK LAWRENCE

Coach Lawrence was a multi-sport, varsity-athlete in high school, who competed in basketball, volleyball, rugby, track and field, and football. Lawrence competed at the OFSA level in basketball, rugby, volleyball and track and field. Following high school, Frank competed at the NCAA and Club level in football. Prior to working with NCSA, Lawrence was a successful Sales Executive of 20 years in Technology sales helping to build multiple Fortune 1000 companies. In recent years, Lawrence created MiniLids Inc., a Sports Collectible company, where he raised $1 million in capital funding for the company. Frank Lawrence comes to NCSA as a coach, trainer, ex student-athlete, as well as a parent of an athlete within the NCSA system.
